The Photobooth Natty is our most compact photo booth with a DSLR camera: an aluminium housing made in our own factory in Greiz, a Microsoft Surface Pro as computer and touchscreen in one, and a plug-in frame instead of a tripod. The housing without electronics costs €2,590, the fully equipped Natty with kiosk €6,040 (as of October 2026, incl. 19 % German VAT).
What sets the Natty apart from the Photobooth Ready?
Design was the main focus during development, combined with a different technical approach: unlike the Photobooth Ready with its studio flash and beauty dish, the Natty uses a compact studio flash with light shaper that disappears inside the housing. The light source is smaller and therefore slightly harder than a large light shaper, but it delivers even results without any additional lights having to be set up.
The compact build is made possible by the Microsoft Surface Pro: it is touchscreen and computer in one and has enough processing power to handle green-screen keying as well. The tablet is more expensive than a mini PC with a separate monitor, but saves space and weight.
How is the Natty assembled?
We did without a tripod and developed our own plug-in profile system. The cables run hidden inside the profile. The booth can be set up at two heights: at seated and children’s height or for standing guests. Fine adjustment is done by tilting the camera. Dismantled, the Natty including its base fits into the matching transport case.
Which printer housing goes with it?
For printing at the event there is the Natty kiosk system in the same design. It holds dye-sublimation printers such as the DNP DS620 or Sinfonia CS2 and can be run with an iPad as a stand-alone sharing station. The combination of booth and kiosk is available as Photobooth Natty + Kiosk.
Colours and material
All housing parts except the base and rear panel are made of aluminium and powder-coated in a satin finish. Available colours are white, blue, black and red, plus a version with wood-effect foil; the outer frame is interchangeable and can be reordered later. Whether the Natty or another system suits your use is shown in the photo booth comparison.
